NT Bores - Registered Bores

The Water Resources Division of Department of Land Resource Managment (DLRM) collects, manages and provides surface water and groundwater resources information for the Northern Territory. To provide this information a network of surface water, rainfall and groundwater sites (Pluviometer sites - rainfall- River gauging stations - river stage, rainfall, temperature and evaporation- Tidal gauging stations - tide stage- Flow sites - river stage- Water quality sites - water quality and Groundwater sites - bores and wells) are operated. The information collected is stored, managed and disseminated to the public using the Hydstra database. HYDSTRA database also provides a basis for data analysis, modelling and flow predictions.
