What can I do with the data?
Open data is data that anyone can access, use and share. The real value of data greatly increases when it is shared, enabling greater benefits to be generated for the community. The Northern Territory Government recognises that the data it collects and creates is a strategic asset that can realise value when it is made available for analysis. Businesses and individuals can use government’s open data to create innovation, for research or simply to be more informed.
The NTG Open Data Portal provides non-sensitive government information only. Personal or identifiable information will always be protected and will never be released.
