Land Units Daly River Agricultural Area

This polygon spatial dataset provides information on the land unit boundaries of the Daly River Agricultural Area, Northern Territory and describes dominant landforms, soils and vegetation. The survey area of 622km2 is located approximately 200km north west of Katherine along the lower Daly River. The survey aimed to provide information about the potential of agriculture, recreation and conservation land use in the area. The original field survey was undertaken in 1976 at a mapping scale of 1:50,000. Core attributes describing the land units, as defined by this department, were added to the spatial dataset in 2010.
