Land Resources Proposed Horticultural Development Area, Mt Ooraminna locality, Deep Well Station

The investigation aims were to provide reconnaissance information about soils for the potential development of a horticultural project. The report provides details for 10 land units within the study area including descriptions for landform, surface geology, soils, vegetation and general capability for horticultural use. The study area covers 80 km2 south of the Ooraminna Range and is located within Deep Well Station, NT Por. 415 approximately 50 km south of Alice Springs township. The original field survey was undertaken in 1997 at a mapping scale of 1:20,000. Data only refers to report, scanned map and legend. Spatial data for land unit polygons is not available over this survey area.
