Soils of the Lower Daly River Region, 1975

This polygon spatial dataset provides information on the land unit boundaries of the Lower Daly River Region, Northern Territory and describes landform, soils and some vegetation. The survey area of 3,500 km2 is bisected by the lower Daly River and is located between the community of Nauiyu to the mouth of the Daly. The original field survey was undertaken in 1975 at a mapping scale of approximately 1:30,000 to complement other investigations for the irrigation potential of the area. This spatial dataset contains only a minimal set of attributes describing the land units
