Biodiversity Assessment of the Greater Weddell Subregion

The project is a biodiversity assessment of the Greater Weddell subregion, covering 39,422 hectares, 13 Kms south of Darwin. It identifies and maps sensitive vegetation, threatened species, and conservation priorities. The study compiles spatial data to highlight key habitats for threatened mammals and important conservation areas for the plant Typhonium praetermissum. This assessment helps guide conservation efforts and land management in the region.
