Index Project Areas - Mapping the Future Project, Northern Territory

Mapping the Future project will assess natural resource potential in strategic locations across the Northern Territory. From 2018 to 2022 the program will survey and map land capability, water availability and biodiversity assets. The project will support land planning, reduce investment decision risk and encourage the private sector to do business in the Territory.

This polygon spatial dataset is a compilation of the boundary extents for each of the project areas. An additional polygon spatial dataset displays the extents of soil and land of groundwater surveys within the project areas.
