Land Resources New Crown Station

This spatial dataset provides polygon information on the map unit boundaries of New Crown Station, Northern Territory. The survey area of 6600km2 is located approximately 460km south east of Alice Springs. The purpose of this survey was to map, describe and evaluate land to assist land management descisions on the property. 36 land units are described in the associated survey report. The spatial data describes each land unit with dominant landform, soils and vegetation. The original field survey was undertaken in 1995/6 at a mapping scale of 1:100,000. Core attributes describing the land units, as defined by this department, were added to the spatial dataset in October 2014.
