This spatial dataset provides polygon information on the land unit boundaries of Wildman River Station Northern Territory and describes dominant landform, soils and vegetation. The survey area covers 490 km2 and is located approximately 100 km south east of Darwin off the Arnhem Highway. 50% of the survey area is situated over the Mary River National Park. The original field survey was undertaken in 1977 at a mapping scale of 1:50,000. The main purpose of the survey was to provide an inventory of the land resources of the area and also provide some land utilization alternatives for future property development. Core attributes describing the land units were added to the spatial dataset in 2011.
