Land Systems Ord River Catchment

This spatial dataset describes the polygon information on the map unit boundaries of the Ord River Catchment (on the Northern Territory side). The land resource survey was conducted during 1974 at a scale of 1:100000 and covers an area of approximately 11,000km2. The purpose of this survey was was to map and describe the land resources in the catchment areas upstream of the Ord River irrigation scheme and to delineate those areas susceptible to erosion.
