Land Units Ban Ban Springs

Ban Ban Springs Station covers an area of 1 816 km2 between the upper reaches of Mary River and Howley Creek. The land unit survey of country in the western section of the property, covers 63 km2 in the vicinity of the homestead. The polygon spatial dataset provides information on the land unit boundaries of the area and describes dominant landform, soils and vegetation. The original field survey was undertaken in 1977 at a mapping scale of 1:25,000. Core attributes describing the land units, as defined by this department, were added to the spatial dataset in November 2017.
