Land Units Mount Ringwood Station

This polygon spatial dataset provides information on the land unit boundaries of Mount Ringwood Station, Northern Territory and describes dominant landform, soils and vegetation. The survey area of 160 km2 is located on the western part of Mount Ringwood Station, approximately 100 km east of the Adelaide River township. The survey area, between Howley Creek and Margaret River, was selected for evaluation of current and future development. The original field survey was undertaken in 1978 at a mapping scale of 1:25,000. Core attributes describing the land units, as defined by this department, were added to the spatial dataset in October 2020.
