Land Units of South East Bathurst Island

This land resources survey describes the polygon information on the map unit boundaries of the South East area of Bathurst Island, Northern Territory. The survey was conducted in 1979-80 at scale 1:50 000 and covers an approximate area of 28,360ha. The purpose of this survey was to identify land suitable for agriculture by determining the land resources present and to assess land capability for the required uses. Core attributes describing the land units, as defined by this department, were added to the spatial dataset in November 2011.
