Land Resources of The Undoolya Rocky Hill Agricultural Block. NT Portion 1476. A Reconnaissance Land Resources Survey to Assess Potential Areas for Horticultural Development.

This polygon spatial dataset provides information on the land unit boundaries of the Undoolya Rocky Hill Agricultural Block, NT Portion 1476, Northern Territory and describes dominant landform, soils and vegetation. The survey area of 20.6 km2 is located approximately 30 km south east of Alice Springs via the Santa Teresa Road.

The original field survey was undertaken in 1997 at a mapping scale of 1:25,000. The survey was intended to determine which areas of the block had the most potential for horticultural development. Core attributes describing the land units, as defined by this department, were added to the spatial dataset in September 2013.
