Land Units Upper Todd Catchment (Bond Springs Station)

A high resolution survey (1:15,000 scale dataset) describing the geomorphology of a central Australian low relief catchment and to identify processes of landscape change. The mapped information has classified the geomorphic units of the catchment including the description of specific landforms and the establishment of relationships between units. The survey area of approximately 85km2 is located 20km north of Alice Springs on Bond Springs Station. The original field survey was undertaken in 1993-1994 at a mapping scale of 1:15,000. Core attributes describing the land units, as defined by this department, were added to the spatial dataset in September 2014. These attributes include descriptions for dominant landform, soils and vegetation.
