Land Units Wagait Aboriginal Reserve

This polygon spatial dataset provides information on the land unit boundaries of Wagait Aboriginal Reserve Area, Northern Territory and describes dominant landform, soils and vegetation. The survey area of 1,424 km2 is located approximately 70km south-west of Darwin. The purpose of the survey was to determine the suitability of the Reserve for agricultural and pastoral enterprises. The original field survey was undertaken in 1973 at a mapping scale of 1:50,000. Core attributes describing the land units were added to the spatial dataset in February 2014.
