Land Units Wyworrie Station

This polygon spatial dataset provides information on the land unit boundaries of Wyworrie Station, Northern Territory and describes dominant landform, soils and vegetation. The survey area of 427km2 is located approximately 120km south of Katherine on the Sturt Plateau. The survey area was originally part of Gorrie Station. The main purpose of the survey was to identify areas most capable for agricultural development. The original field survey was undertaken in 1988 at a mapping scale of 1:50,000. Core attributes describing the land units, as defined by this department, were added to the spatial dataset in 2010.
