NT Gamma Log Areas

Bores drilled in these areas are required to submit a Gamma Log with the Statement of Bore.

The purpose of this is to identify the contact between the Tindall and Jinduckin aquifers in the Daly Basin and the Gum Ridge and Anthony Lagoon aquifers in the Georgina Basin. These aquifers are required to be sealed off from each other and a gamma log is the most accurate method to determine the boundary between them.
