Soil Assessment Survey of Henbury Station

This polygon spatial dataset provides broad scale reconnaissance land system boundaries for Henbury Station, Northern Territory, and describes dominant soils and landscapes. The survey aimed to refine existing Henbury Land System mapping (Bastian 1983) and improve soil property descriptions. The survey area of 5,300 km2 is located approximately 120 km south-west of Alice Springs via the Stuart Highway.

79 field sites were described during July - September 2020, including 17 with laboratory analysis. The spatial data has a mapping scale of 1:250,000.
