Soil Survey and Capability Assessment of the Upper Katherine River Area for Irrigated Horticulture

This spatial dataset, surveyed at a scale of 1 : 25 000, provides polygon information on the map unit boundaries of the Upper Katherine River Area, Northern Territory, over an area of 315km2. The accompanying report provides a detailed inventory and evaluation of the land resources of the immediate catchment surrounding the Katherine River, from the western boundary of Nitmiluk National Park to the King River junction. It is designed as a tool for planners, agriculturalists and landholders, to use in the identification and characterisation of both present and potential horticultural land.
