A reconnaissance level survey (1:500,000 scale dataset) that details surface water and groundwater resources within 150km of Katherine. Mapped information is derived by a water resources officer using satellite imagery, geological formations/mapping, bore/river data and field investigations. The mapping dataset contains surface water yield, surface water type, groundwater yield and aquifer types over a topographic/cadastral base and provides a basis for identifying the extent and distribution of surface water and groundwater resources within 150km of Katherine.
